Fantasy Art
I have been involved in this genre for a very long time. The world of fantasy is full of magic and magical creatures that have inspired my work since high school. I can escape from everyday life in these fictional worlds, other dimensions. Each time I conceptualize this genre in a different way, one time I see a post-apocalyptic world, another time I see a world full of elves or nature spirits. Each painting reflects my moods, views of the contemporary world, or perhaps my ideas about the visuals of intangible things or beings. As a child, I filled my childhood mind with various creatures or beings, and in my adulthood, when I had some art training, I started to create art in which I can give shape and form to what I imagined as a child. Here you will find a little of my fantasy painting.
Note: For some of the paintings you may find a signature with the name Ficek. That is my maiden name.
