Hidden in the flame
It is an oil painting on tanned wooden panels. I used the flame to accentuate the pattern of the wood, and I wondered if this accentuated wood decor was able to work with the painting and form a functional whole. I was looking for balance and connection. I chose animals and humans as motifs. For the animals I decided to use inhabitants of our climate zone who are close to me or who impress me in some way.
